Google Earth is an amazing piece of free software that allows you to view the world in 3D. It combines satellite imagery with a model that can be zoomed, spun and tilted.

Google Earth Training
Digital Explorer runs Google Earth training with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). The courses are a one day seminar where educators and expeditioners learn how to create virtual tours using Google Earth. The course is very hands on with participants out in Hyde Park, armed with GPS and Digital Camera, marking waypoints and taking images to geotag.
Bookings are made through the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)
