These practical workshops show teachers and expedition organisations how to create virtual fieldwork using Google Earth. Participants get hands-on experience with digital cameras and GPS units, creating mini-fieldwork projects, and then transforming this data into a Google Earth virtual journey.

Google™ have recently agreed to sponsor 10 further Google Earth training courses for LEA maintained Geography teachers across the UK. These courses will take place in November 2008 and early 2009.

I am a geography teacher in a coprehensive secondary school in England, I would like to have training in google earth but am too late to attend the last course puton by the RGS. How else can I become trained in or get training for my department, so that we can integrated GIS into our teaching?
